Gail A. Guerin
Gail Guerin is a marketing and fundraising specialist. She founded an independent marketing consulting firm in 2004, now known as The Guerin Group, to capitalize on her years of experience positioning and marketing private equity strategies globally. Previously, Ms. Guerin was a Senior Partner and Director of Marketing & Investor Relations at Baring Private Equity Partners, London, where she supported a global private equity platform comprised of six regional teams in Asia, India, Russia, Latin America, and central and western Europe. During her tenure at Baring, Ms. Guerin created a fundraising/investor relations program that provided the platform for all aspects of marketing and business development, brand management, and public relations. Before joining Baring, Ms. Guerin was Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Hamilton Lane. Prior to that she was Marketing Co-Head and Vice President in the Fixed Income Group at Morgan Stanley & Company in New York.Ms. Guerin received a BS and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Mark E. Gorman
Mark Gorman is a senior corporate finance professional with expertise in new fund development, investor positioning, marketability assessment, due diligence, and capital raising. Mr. Gorman has spent the past 18 years in the alternative industry, having worked both on the buy and sell sides. He has overseen a number of fund formations, hedge and private equity, domestic and international, including strategy design/implementation, legal documentation, and marketing materials. Mr. Gorman was a Partner at Attalus Capital, a fund of hedge funds, where he developed the firm’s compliance program, structured and designed new products, and was the Portfolio Manager for the Relative Value, Event Driven, and Macro/CTA Strategies. Previous to that, Mr. Gorman was Head of the Buyout Unit at Hamilton Lane, where he was in charge of allocating $2+ billion annually. Mr. Gorman received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA and JD from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kathleen Danoher
Kathleen Danoher is a specialist in capital sourcing with an expertise in due diligence, fund formation, team-building, and fund marketing documentation. Ms. Danoher has spent the last 18 years in financial services, 14 in alternative asset management and investment. From 2001 to 2006, Ms. Danoher worked with Invesco Private Capital’s general partner in London. She co-managed principal investment activities for the Invesco Global Fund of Funds program, and invested in a spectrum of alternative partnerships. As part of the Investment Committee, she also served on several advisory boards and was responsible for marketing and product development outside of the US. Ms. Danoher became an independent consultant in 2006, with a focus on Africa, South Africa, and the Middle East.Ms. Danoher received a BS from New York University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
James E. Moore
Jim Moore is an entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in the finance and investment industries, including both the public and private capital markets. He has acted as a founder, investor and manager of numerous companies in diverse industries, and has been involved with companies in virtually all stages of development and growth. Mr. Moore’s background and experience include involvement at the senior level in corporate finance, investment banking, and private equity/venture capital investing, including leveraged buyouts. He has also been involved at the senior level in building asset management and investment advisory companies from an early stage to multi-billion dollars of assets under management/advisory, and ultimately achieving liquidity with these companies. Mr. Moore is currently Chairman of Moore Global Advisors, LLC; and Chairman of KQM Entertainment Group, LLC and its music library KQM Production Music.
Mr. Moore received a BA from Claremont McKenna College, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and attended Franklin University Switzerland. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Sue R. Winchester
Sue Winchester is a marketing and technical support specialist with expertise in creating fundraising documentation and communication marketing materials, utilizing a variety of software applications. With a career background at a Massachusetts advertising agency, marketing for a boutique investment manager, and client support at a full service technology consulting company, Ms. Winchester brings 30 years of experience to The Guerin Group. Ms. Winchester has a BA in Biology from the University of the Virgin Islands, with additional graduate studies at New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology, and the College of Marine Studies, University of Delaware.
